Safe Play

Safety First, Bounce Second

Boinkers Pals are made to be bounced on, hugged, dragged around the backyard and loved to bits. Here's how to keep bounce time safe, plus what we've done on our end to back that up.

Always supervise the bounce
A grown-up (or responsible big kid) should always be nearby when a Pal is being ridden or played on. Boinkers Pals aren't a substitute for supervision – they're a toy, not a babysitter.

Tested and certified to the AS/NZS standard
Every Boinkers Pal is independently lab-tested against the Australian/New Zealand Toy Safety Standard: AS/NZS ISO 8124.1:2023 (mechanical and physical safety – small parts, edges, points, use/abuse testing), AS/NZS ISO 8124.2:2023 (flammability), and AS/NZS ISO 8124-3:2021 (migration of certain elements – checking materials for things like lead and other heavy metals). All three: passed, for the 2+ age group our Pals are made for. Copies of our test reports are available on request at hello@boinkers.com.au.

Pick a safe spot
Bounce on carpet, rugs, grass or other soft, flat ground. Keep clear of stairs, pools and water, roads and driveways, hard concrete or tile, and anything with sharp edges nearby.

One Pal, one rider
Boinkers Pals are made for one child to ride or play on at a time. They're sized for little ones from around 2 years old – if you're ever unsure whether your child is the right fit, get in touch and we'll help.

Quick check before every bounce
Once-over the cover and inflatable base for tears, cracks or soft spots. Make sure the valve cap is pushed in firmly. Check it's properly inflated – an underinflated Pal bounces unpredictably. Keep away from sharp objects, rough surfaces and pet claws.

Looking after your Pal
The plush cover comes off for a wash – follow the care label inside. Store away from direct sun and heat.

If something doesn't seem right
Stop using it straight away and email hello@boinkers.com.au. We'd rather hear from you than have you guess.
